Tru by Hilton Pigeon Forge

Had a good stay overall! Room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit loud though. There was no bath tub only a shower, so that was a little difficult with toddlers. The staff all seemed friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and hot. The staff were constantly refilling everything. If I told them something was out they instantly refilled it. They had a yogurt machine and an automatic pancake machine which I thought was neat and never seen before. Location was great and 1 minute from The Island and a little bit further to Dollywood. Would come back and stay again!

This was our first experience at a Tru Hilton and we loved it. The lobby is spacious and a great place to relax and visit with family and friends. Coffee is available 24/7 and there are foos ball tables. Plenty of other tables for games and computers, too. The rooms were nice and clean. Nice modern look and style. Breakfast was great as well. And the Sky Deck is a cool place to hangout as well. Loved it all.

I was placed in this hotel after a bad experience at the sister company next door. The stay here was amazing. I couldn’t sleep well because of my previous experience at home 2 suite next door. This hotel was amazing. Definitely stay here on your travel.

Extremely clean and well kept. Big breakfast variety (the bacon was done right, crisp, and delicious). The rooftop area is a huge asset with awesome views, plenty of furniture, and gas fireplace feature, a really great ambiance day or night. Still very impressed at how clean the place was in shared areas as well as in the rooms. Indoor pool is chilly but a nice option if your children insist on swimming. All staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 424 and had a great view of the island ferris wheel which is something my child is always excited to see. We normally stay at the Home2 next door but Tru will be our go-to place now. More bang for your buck if you don't need a full kitchen and bigger sq ft.

First of all location location location! Easily accessible to many activities in Pigeon Forge. Staff were friendly and kind. They have a rooftop and could see the fireworks for New Year's without having to get in the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The beds were actually very comfortable — even though I saw some other reviews saying otherwise, we slept great every night. The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. There was absolutely no funky smell anywhere in the hotel or in our room, which I really appreciated. The rooms have tile floors, which I personally loved — they feel much cleaner and fresher than carpet. Housekeeping comes every other day and did a great job keeping everything tidy. Breakfast was good and had different options each day, so it never felt boring. The location is also excellent — close to many attractions, museums, and things to do. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Second time staying at this location. We will stay again. The only thing we would change is adding a few more breakfast options for folks with gluten allergies. The other issue we have is not a Tru by Hilton problem,but rather a parental problem with other guests. Both times we stayed there were other guests staying with children who were loud and obnoxious at an age they should know better. Overall still a very good choice for a budget friendly place to stay. Excellent customer service from the front desk staff.

Our favorite place to stay when visiting Dollywood and Anakeesta Mtn. It’s clean, new, modern. The free breakfast is great. Very close to the attractions. Can’t go wrong here. One thing that could use improvement is that there’s nowhere to unpack your clothes. You pretty much have to live out of your luggage.
